Welcome to Barney's Bar-B-Q located in Ellisville, Missouri. We are well known throughout the St. Louis region for our open-pit style Bar-B-Q. Our process of making our own charcoal and hand carrying it to the pit with a shovel make us the most unique Bar-B-Q joint in the area.We use our famous vinegar based sauce to baste during the cooking process (wet rub) which creates a fantastic spicy crust on the meat. My grandparents began this journey in 1963 and this season we are Celebrating 50 years. Our specialties are our Famous Ribs and Chicken but don’t be afraid to try our other specialties including the Fabulous Pork Steaks and for dessert our Famopus Pumpkin cake.
